What the Apartment preset selects

Choosing Apartment during setup selects five rooms: kitchen (7 tasks), bathroom (6), living room (5), bedroom (4) and hallway (3), 25 task lines in total. It leaves out a separate toilet room, a laundry room, a balcony and outdoor spaces, because many flats do not have them.

The selection is only a starting point. On the setup screen you can tap rooms on or off before Build my plan, and later add or remove rooms in the Rooms tab.

94 occurrences in the apartment month

The planner places the 25 tasks from 26 October 2026 so that no day is much heavier than another. The 28 days contain 94 occurrences: ten days with four tasks, from 26 October to 2 November and on 9 and 10 November, and 18 days with three.

Most of the count comes from the kitchen, whose three every-three-days tasks alone account for 28 occurrences. The fridge, the kettle, the oven, the washing machine and both window tasks appear once each.

Adjust the preset before you start

• If the toilet is a separate room, add Toilet during setup; it brings three more tasks, including a toilet clean every three days.
• If you have no washing machine in the bathroom, delete that line in the Plan tab after setup.
• If you have a balcony, add it in the Rooms tab; it arrives with its own two tasks, spread on its own from the day you add it.
• Add the people who live with you on the Who lives here? screen; with Take turns on, the 25 lines are spread across members by weekly load.

Points to check

A combined bathroom and toilet is already covered by the bathroom template; adding Toilet as well would plan another floor and another set of handles.

The daily totals count tasks, not time. A day with four quick jobs may be shorter than a day with three that include the oven.

Removing a room deletes its tasks; the undo shown right after restores them with their dates and frequencies.
