Scrub the sink: a practical task plan

Scrub the sink is every three days in Kleara's kitchen and weekly in the bathroom. See the 14 example dates, the one shared day and how to change one sink only.

Same name, two different jobs

Kleara includes scrub the sink in the kitchen, every three days, and in the bathroom, weekly. The kitchen line is one of the most frequent tasks in the template bank; the bathroom line sits among five other weekly bathroom jobs.

Because each sink is its own line, you can change one without touching the other. That matters in homes where the kitchen sink is used for food all day and the bathroom sink much less, or the other way round.

Fourteen sink dates and one overlap

In the example that schedules only the two sink lines from 26 October 2026, the kitchen sink starts on 26 October and returns every three days: 29 October, 1, 4, 7, 10, 13, 16, 19 and 22 November. The bathroom sink starts on 28 October and returns on 4, 11 and 18 November.

That is 14 occurrences in 28 days. The two lines meet only once, on 4 November, because a three-day cycle and a seven-day cycle coincide only every 21 days.

Change one sink at a time

Common errors

Ticking the kitchen line after cleaning the bathroom sink, or the reverse. The task names are identical, so check the room shown on the task before marking it done.

Treating the frequency as a hygiene rule. Every three days is the app's starting value, not guidance on food safety; adjust it to how the sink is used.
