Bathroom cleaning checklist
The bathroom template lists six separate jobs: five weekly ones and a quarterly washing-machine clean. See the four-week spread and how to fit it to your bathroom.
Six lines instead of one bathroom chore
Kleara's bathroom template splits the room into six tasks: clean the shower, scrub the sink, wipe mirrors, change towels and mop the floor every week, plus clean the washing machine every three months. Keeping the towels apart from the floor and the shower apart from the mirror means you can see which part was done and which one is still open.
The washing-machine line is there because many flats keep the machine in the bathroom. If yours stands in a separate laundry room, that room's template has its own washing-machine task on a monthly rhythm, so selecting both rooms would give you two lines for one machine.
One task a day in the example
In the example starting 26 October 2026, the five weekly jobs are placed on five consecutive days: shower on 26 October, sink on 27, mirrors on 28, towels on 29 and floor on 30 October. The washing machine gets 31 October. Each weekly job then returns on the same weekday, so the bathroom never asks for more than one task on any day of the 28-day window.
Altogether the room produces 21 occurrences in four weeks: four of each weekly task and a single washing-machine clean.
Make the template match your bathroom
- Remove the washing-machine task from the bathroom if the machine lives in the laundry room, or remove the laundry-room line instead; keep one owner for one machine.
- If you have a bath rather than a shower, rename the job by deleting the template line and using Add task with your own wording and frequency.
- Change towels to a different frequency in the Plan tab if your household swaps them more or less often; the next date is calculated from the day you finish the task.
- If several people share the bathroom, turn on Take turns in the Household tab so the five weekly jobs are spread across members instead of falling to one person.
Points that are easy to miss
A bathroom plus a separate toilet room adds three more tasks (toilet every three days, floor and door handles weekly). In a combined room you may want only the bathroom template plus a custom toilet task, rather than both rooms.
The checklist schedules work; it does not tell you which product suits a surface. Follow the instructions for your fittings and appliances.
