A rye stirred drink in the Manhattan mould where two Italian amari replace the vermouth and a little elderflower liqueur sweetens the bitter finish.

Ingredients
- Rye whiskey60 ml (2 oz)
- Amaro15 ml (0.5 oz)
- Cynar (artichoke amaro)15 ml (0.5 oz)
- Elderflower liqueur7.5 ml (0.3 oz)
How to Make It
- Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice.
- Stir until well chilled and diluted.
- Strain into an old fashioned glass over one large ice cube.
- Twist a grapefruit peel over the surface and discard it.
