St. Regis Julep Recipe
A rye julep given extra depth by a measure of Jamaican rum and a blush of grenadine, served over a mound of crushed ice under a mint bouquet.

Ingredients
- Rye whiskey45 ml (1.5 oz)
- Dark Jamaican rum15 ml (0.5 oz)
- Demerara syrup7.5 ml (0.3 oz)
- Grenadine0.5 tsp
- Fresh mint leaves6 piece
How to Make It
- Gently muddle the mint leaves with the demerara syrup and grenadine in a julep cup.
- Add the rye and the rum and half-fill the cup with crushed ice.
- Stir until the outside of the cup frosts over.
- Pack more crushed ice on top into a dome.
- Garnish with a generous bouquet of mint and serve with a short straw.
