A bourbon julep sweetened with demerara syrup and a small measure of coffee liqueur, served under a mound of crushed ice and a mint bouquet.

Ingredients
- Bourbon75 ml (2.5 oz)
- Coffee liqueur7.5 ml (0.3 oz)
- Demerara syrup7.5 ml (0.3 oz)
How to Make It
- Pour the bourbon, coffee liqueur and demerara syrup into a julep cup.
- Fill with crushed ice and stir until the cup frosts over.
- Top with more crushed ice to form a dome.
- Slap a mint sprig to wake the aroma and tuck it in beside the straw.
