Equal parts dark rum and coffee liqueur, stirred cold and capped with a floating layer of hand-whipped cream: a rum-based cousin of the White Russian, served up.

How to Make It

  1. Add the rum and coffee liqueur to a mixing glass with ice.
  2. Stir until well chilled and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
  3. Whip the cream by hand until it just thickens but still pours.
  4. Float the cream over the back of a spoon to cover the surface.
