Ingredients
Bourbon30 ml (1 oz)
Cointreau15 ml (0.5 oz)
Angostura bitters5 dash
Peychaud's bitters5 dash
Champagne90 ml (3 oz)
How to Make It
Stir the bourbon, Cointreau and both bitters briefly with ice.
Strain into a chilled flute.
Top slowly with cold Champagne.
Garnish with a long orange twist.

Long presented as a lost pre-Prohibition recipe from the Seelbach Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky; in 2016 bartender Adam Seger, who put it on the hotel's menu in the 1990s, admitted he had invented it himself.
