Apple Kickin' Recipe
An Old Fashioned for cold weather: whiskey and apple brandy sweetened with demerara and a small measure of orange-scented amaro.

Ingredients
- Bourbon or rye whiskey45 ml (1.5 oz)
- Calvados22 ml (0.7 oz)
- Demerara syrup7.5 ml (0.3 oz)
- Amaro7.5 ml (0.3 oz)
- Angostura bitters1 dash
How to Make It
- Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice.
- Stir until well chilled.
- Strain into an old fashioned glass over one large ice cube.
- Garnish with a thin apple slice.
