A low-proof answer to the Old Fashioned: sake, a quinine-tinged aperitif wine and a little red wine, seasoned with grapefruit bitters.

Ingredients
- Sake60 ml (2 oz)
- Aperitif wine30 ml (1 oz)
- Red wine30 ml (1 oz)
- Grapefruit bitters3 dash
- Sugar1 tsp
How to Make It
- If using sugar, put a cube in a rocks glass, soak it with the bitters and crush it.
- Add the sake, aperitif wine and red wine.
- Add a large ice cube and stir until cold.
- Express a lemon twist over the drink and drop it in.
