When to use this template
This template is for withdrawing an application you made earlier. It identifies the application by its date and its subject and states that you are withdrawing it, without giving a reason.
What the letter contains
- Date is the date of the original application; it appears as “my application of” and again above your name.
- Message names what the application was about, after “regarding”.
- The whole letter is one sentence stating the withdrawal; it asks for nothing further.
- It does not ask for a confirmation or for any fee to be returned.
- Recipient is the office or organisation that received the application.
- Your full name and, if you add it, your ID number help the office find the application being withdrawn.
