When to use this template
This template is for ending a subscription from a set date. It is addressed to the company that provides the subscription and, in a single sentence, asks for the cancellation and for the plan not to renew afterwards.
What the letter contains
- Message names the subscription being cancelled; it is placed right after “Please cancel my”.
- Date sets the day the cancellation takes effect, and the same date is printed again above your name.
- The closing words ask the provider to make sure the subscription is not renewed after that day.
- Recipient holds the name of the company or service provider, printed as the first line of the letter.
- Your full name signs the cancellation request; a line with your ID number and your address follow only when you fill those fields in.
