When to use this template
This template is for asking a school or university for a letter confirming that you are a student there. It asks for the letter to be issued and says what you need it for, in two short sentences.
What the letter contains
- The first sentence is a polite question asking the school to issue a student status letter.
- Message gives the purpose and completes “I need it for”, so the school knows where the letter will be used.
- Recipient is the school, faculty or student office that issues the letter.
- Date sits under the request as the day it was written.
