Calculate with one fuel unit
The trip time comes from distance and ground speed. Trip fuel is that time multiplied by the chosen hourly flow. The worksheet then adds the fuel represented by your reserve minutes and the separately entered taxi fuel. One consistent fuel unit is required throughout.
A flow is an assumption or observation that you supply. Check whether it represents the relevant phase of flight and conditions. A correct arithmetic total does not validate usable fuel, aircraft performance or the measurement itself.
Enter and verify the reserve separately
Reserve requirements depend on the applicable operation and rules. This page does not select a legal minimum. Check the aircraft documents, current conditions and applicable requirements before using a result operationally.
