Keep the question beside the answer
Capture the relevant question, the answer and any visible source titles. If the answer spans several images, keep their order clear. Store the original links separately when possible, because a screenshot of a citation cannot show whether the linked page supports the claim.
- Preserve the prompt or a short description of it.
- Record the date and the service used.
- Keep source links in a form you can open.
- Mark information that still needs checking.
Archive by the work it supports
A folder named for a decision or project is often easier to use than a folder named only 'AI'. For example, keep camera research beside the product specifications you checked. When a saved answer conflicts with a primary source, retain that distinction instead of silently treating the answer as settled reference material.
Shotnest can place recognized AI-answer screenshots on a shelf, search their text and combine a selected set into a PDF. Its optional on-device summaries require supported Apple Intelligence hardware and software. A shorter summary does not validate the original claim or replace the original source.
