Garden cleaning checklist
The garden template contains plant care every three days and a monthly grill clean. See the example dates, why plants dominate the count, and how to adapt by season.
Two very different garden jobs
The garden in Kleara has water the plants every three days and clean the grill every month. It is part of the house preset, which can surprise people in a house without a garden or without a grill; remove the room or the line if it does not apply.
The garden plant task is on a shorter rhythm than the plant tasks of the living room and balcony, which are weekly. It is still only a reminder; rain, season and plants decide what is actually needed.
How the example looks
In the 28-day example from 26 October 2026, plant care starts on 26 October and repeats every three days until 22 November, ten times in all. The grill clean is placed on 27 October and next falls on 27 November. The garden therefore produces 11 occurrences, one per day at most.
In the full house preset, the garden plant task starts on 28 October instead, because the planner balances it against the kitchen and toilet tasks that are also on a three-day cycle.
Adjust it through the year
- Change the plant task to Weekly or delete it in the Plan tab for the months when the garden needs little attention, and set it back in spring.
- If you do not have a grill, delete that line instead of ticking it off every month.
- Use Holiday mode when you travel: it pauses the plan, shifts every date by the length of the trip and sends no reminders, so the garden task waits until you are back. Arrange watering separately if the plants need it.
- Add custom tasks for lawn, hedges or gutters if you want them in the plan, each with its own frequency.
Common surprises
Starting from the house preset adds the garden even to a house that has none; the two outdoor lines then add ten reminders to the house example's four weeks that you would only ignore.
The plan does not know the weather. A completed plant task records that someone ticked it, not that the plants had enough water.
