How the calculation works
This tool follows Cutlist’s timber convention for sai: one sun by one sun by twelve shaku. Its cubic-metre factor is (10 ÷ 330)² × (120 ÷ 33). Similar unit names can be used differently by suppliers, so agree the convention before ordering.
The entered measurements remain actual board dimensions. The selected output unit changes how volume is expressed; it does not change the board or introduce an allowance unless you enter one.
