Enter consistent station weights and arms
Add one weight and arm pair per row. A station moment is weight multiplied by arm; total moment divided by total weight gives the calculated center of gravity. All rows must use the same weight unit, arm unit and datum.
Enter final nonnegative station weights. A fuel burn or unloading change must be reflected in the final station data; a negative adjustment is not treated as a final load. The result lists station moments so you can inspect how the total was formed.
Supply and verify the aircraft envelope separately
An optional envelope is a polygon of center-of-gravity and weight pairs. The worksheet can compare the entered total with that user-supplied shape, but it does not know the aircraft’s approved limits, category, datum or configuration. A geometric inside result is meaningful only when the supplied envelope and units are correct.
