What Does Dreaming of a Forest Mean?
Traditional Interpretation
In traditional interpretation, and according to Ibn Sirin, seeing a forest in a dream may point to an undertaking whose end is not visible once you enter it, to a crowded and tangled community, or to a field where provision is plentiful but the labour is heavy. Finding your way out may be read as a tangled matter reaching resolution.
Psychological View
In modern psychology, the forest is one of the classic images of the unconscious; it can represent an inner world not yet explored and a period in which you must move forward without a guide. Dense trees shorten the range of sight, which corresponds to advancing step by step without being able to see the whole of your life.
