Crop a readable reference excerpt
A crop can focus a reference on the part you want to read.
Make a deliberate local copy
A crop can focus a reference on the part you want to read. Define the rectangle in decoded image pixels, then inspect the result to make sure a heading, number or qualification has not been cut away.
Work through the operation
- Choose one supported raster image.
- Enter the left and top coordinates.
- Enter the crop width and height.
- Inspect the exported PNG before sharing it.
Check a concrete result
A 48×32 image cropped from x2, y3 with an 8×6 rectangle produces an 8×6 PNG. The crop does not create readable details that were absent from the original.
Review before sharing
The operation runs on the selected raster files in this tab. It does not upload an image, perform OCR, find private information automatically or change the original file. Inspect the actual downloaded copy before using it elsewhere.
