Keep a social post with its source context
“Sponsored”, “View all comments”, “Followers” and “Reels” score 7 for Social posts in Shotnest; keep the author and date the label cannot supply.
How interface words point to Social posts
Sponsored, followers and view all comments are longer than five letters and add 2 points each; reels has five letters and adds 1. The sample reaches 7 for Social posts and nothing else scores. These are the words a social app prints around a post, not words from the post itself.
That is why a high score says little about the content. A screenshot of a reposted image can carry all the interface words while the original author, date and thread are missing.
A short caption behaves differently. “Sponsored post” has 14 characters, enough to be classified, but only sponsored matches, so Social posts gets 2 and the suggestion is not confident. In the app that is the point where the on-device model may be asked, if available.

Mistakes with social screenshots
- Trusting a post because it looks like it came from a familiar interface.
- Reading Sponsored on the screen as proof of a paid partnership.
- Sharing a screenshot that still shows strangers’ profile names in the replies.
- Saving a quote without the account it came from.
Interface words also change between apps and languages; the lists include phrases from the languages Shotnest supports, but a post from an app with unusual labels may score nothing.
Interface text is not verification
A Social posts suggestion means interface phrases were found. It does not verify the account, the sponsorship or the truth of the post. The classifier tool linked below lists the score so you can see what drove it.
