Import a finite cleaning calendar carefully

The planner's calendar file contains one all-day event per dated task, 46 for a kitchen and bedroom, and no repeat rule. See what each event holds before importing.

A list of events, not a repeating series

Download (ICS) on the web planner saves kleara-plan.ics. The file contains one all-day event for every dated occurrence in the four-week result. It does not use a repeat rule, so importing it never creates a schedule that runs on forever: after the last date, the calendar simply has no more cleaning events.

Each event's title is the room and task, for example Kitchen: Mop the floor. The file has no times, no time zone, no names of people and none of the values you typed except the selected rooms and frequencies.

The kitchen and bedroom file

For the example that starts on 26 October 2026, the file holds 46 events, the same 46 occurrences as the preview. The first is the kitchen floor on 26 October, with a start of 20261026 and an end of 20261027. The end date is the next day because all-day events in this format end at the start of the following day; it does not mean a two-day task.

Every event has an identifier such as kitchen.taskMop.1.2026-10-26@kleara.vomcore.com, made of the room, the task, its position in the room and the date. No two events in one file share an identifier.

Import it carefully

What the calendar will not do

The file is not connected to the planner or to the app. Changing a frequency on the page does not change events you already imported, and ticking a task in Kleara does not touch your calendar.

If you want reminders that follow what you actually finish, the app sends one notification a day at the reminder time you choose, listing the tasks due that day, and none on holiday days.
