מזמור לתודה

מזמור לתודה יש לאומרו בנגינה שכל השירות עתידות ליבטל חוץ ממזמור לתודה (ראה ויק"ר ט,ז). ואין אומרים מזמור לתודה בשבת ויו"ט, או בימי פסח שאין תודה קריבה בהם משום חמץ, ולא בערב פסח.

מִזְמוֹר לְתוֹדָה הָרִֽיעוּ לַיהוָֹה כָּל־הָאָֽרֶץ: עִבְדוּ אֶת יְהֹוָה בְּשִׂמְחָה בֹּֽאוּ לְפָנָיו בִּרְנָנָה: דְּעוּ כִּי־יְהֹוָה הוּא אֱלֹהִים הוּא עָשָֽׂנוּ וְלוֹ (וְלֹא) אֲנַֽחְנוּ עַמּוֹ וְצֹאן מַרְעִיתוֹ: בֹּֽאוּ שְׁעָרָיו בְּתוֹדָה חֲצֵרֹתָיו בִּתְהִלָּה הֽוֹדוּ לוֹ בָּרְ֒כוּ שְׁמוֹ: כִּי־טוֹב יְהֹוָה לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּוֹ וְעַד־דֹּר וָדֹר אֱמוּנָתוֹ:

As is pointed out by the written form לא, which indicates “we are nothing,” we are not even the most insignificant part of our existence to ourselves. In fact, the more we realize that we are לא, insignificant, the more לו אנחנו, we are His.—Sfas Emes
